On July 31, 2023, Forbes Global Properties began a new chapter by appointing Matthew Beall as Board Chair of the world’s largest luxury real estate network, of which Mercure Forbes Global Properties has been a founding member since 2020.

Matthew Beall joins an important seat in the group alongside the many major players in the international prestige real estate market that make up the network. Drawing on his 25 years’ experience in real estate, the founder and current CEO of Hawaii Life is, in his words, honoured to serve Forbes Global Properties as Board Chair, and above all to continue the legacy of Jeff Hyland, who has always been, for Matt as for others, an important mentor in the profession.
By founding his own agency in the Hawaiian territory, Matthew Beall not only became a leader in the local real estate market, but also an important figure on the island, sitting on the board of the Hawaii Land Trust, a land conservation organization with over 22,000 acres under perpetual conservation. Under his leadership, Hawaii Life has enjoyed steady growth and success, and today is considered the most successful real estate brokerage company in the state of Hawaii.
