Description
Burgundy, Nièvre, near Clamecy, elegant fortified castle from the 15th and 16th centuries, listed HD, with a living area of around 200 m² with significant possibility of extension. Land of approximately 3 hectares with paved and enclosed courtyard of approximately 800 m² and 3 hectares of adjoining land. Chapel and outbuildings. Built on the edge of a small river, at the bottom of a valley, it once defended the ancient Roman road leading to Entrains sur Nohain. Its moats have been filled and its drawbridge has been replaced by a sleeping bridge. The buildings are out of water, all the roofs have been renovated, as are the floors and doorframes of the castle and the chapel. Renovation work to be planned.
Situation : The castle is located in a rural, quiet and isolated environment, 1 km from the town, 6 km from the capital of the canton and its shops nearby, 30 km from Clamecy, Vézelay and the Morvan park less than 50 km, 200 km from Paris and 300 km from Lyon or Geneva.
