Description
TARN – BETWEEN CASTRES AND ALBI
Magnificent feudal castle in a village, listed (Supplementary Inventory of Historic Monuments), and therefore benefiting from attractive tax advantages.
Situated in the heart of Occitania, the oldest part of the castle was built in the 12th century and successively enlarged in the 13th and 18th centuries. Today, the Château has been completely renovated with all modern comforts (mains drainage, double glazing, central heating, swimming pool…)
The current owners, who are passionate about history, have preserved many of the original features: doors, parquet floors, fireplaces, monumental staircase and, more unusually, the four towers and the moat. The latter protected the castle and the villagers who took refuge there in the event of an invasion, in ancient times.
This place, which houses two gites, has been designed to host seminars or events in a magnificent setting, halfway between Castres and Albi.
